Steve and his wife Raylene joined the Hilldale family in March of 2008 when Steve was called into the music ministry.  Directing music has been a life-long dream.  Music has been part of Steve's life from early on.  He describes music ministry as fitting him comfortably, like an old shoe.  He refers to the Hilldale choir as worship leaders because he feels the importance of music as a ministry and another form of praising our Heavenly Father.  Steve has organized a children's choir who sing for the congregation from time to time.  In March of 2009, Steve also felt led to work with the children and youth of Hilldale and started a ministry with them as well.  There is an organized youth meeting every Thursday evening from 6:00 to 7:00 pm.  Actvities and events are scheduled regularly.  Incorporating fun and fellowship as well as spiritual growth are Steve's goals for the youth and children.
