Earl and his wife Shirley came to Hilldale in February of 2000. Earl has more than 40 years of pastoral experience having pastored churches in Arkansas, Missouri, Oklahoma and Texas. He is a man with a pastor's heart who loves the people of God dearly. At the same time he preaches the truth of God's word with passion and without favor. He cares about missions and has served on ten short-term mission projects in six different countries. He was born and raised in Tulsa, Oklahoma, and was saved, called to the gospel ministry and ordained in his home church, Glenwood Baptist Church, Tulsa, Oklahoma. He was educated at Northeastern Oklahoma A&M in Miami, Oklahoma, and Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary, Ft. Worth, Texas. Steve and his wife Raylene joined the Hilldale family in March of 2008 when Steve was called into the music ministry.  Directing music has been a life-long dream.  Music has been part of Steve's life from early on.  He describes music ministry as fitting him comfortably, like an old shoe.  He refers to the Hilldale choir as worship leaders because he feels the importance of music as a ministry and another form of praising our Heavenly Father.  Steve has organized a children's choir who sing for the congregation from time to time.  In March of 2009, Steve also felt led to work with the children and youth of Hilldale and started a ministry with them as well.  There is an organized youth meeting every Thursday evening from 6:00 to 7:00 pm.  Actvities and events are scheduled regularly.  Incorporating fun and fellowship as well as spiritual growth are Steve's goals for the youth and children.

You will not find a kinder person than Millie Holman.  She is a long-time member of Hilldale Baptist Church and does the Lord's work gladly.  Millie does whatever is needed to help keep Hilldale running smoothly.  She will be glad to answer any questions you have.  Just phone her at the church!
